With Joyful Sound Photography.
As mothers we are often the ones taking the photographs of our children. I personally capture my littles regularly whether it’s on my iPhone or DSLR camera; however, for me to actually be in the photograph with them is rare.
It can be hard to get out of our comfort zone and be the center of attention alongside our children.
I often think, “Oh, I don’t look camera ready.” Or even, “I need my body back before I capture myself on camera.”
Ladies, the list of self conscious excuses of why not shouldn’t control our memories. This is what motherhood looks like. This is what is happening in our lives NOW.
This Mother’s Day treat yourself to preserving your memories of the now with Jessica at Joyful Sound Photography. She reached out to me about capturing my now and I’m ever so thankful. These beautiful images are ones I will treasure forever!
Jessica is offering a Mother’s Day session where you will receive TEN images like the examples you see below. Her work is light, bright, and timeless.

Joyful Sound photography studio is located in River Oaks and has such a cozy feel. Jessica has dozens of wardrobe options for both mama and little ones to select from. I wore three of her dresses; however, every dress I tried on and didn’t photograph in was stunning and very flattering. Her studio also offers hair and make up services for the client at an additional fee.
My Experience
My experience with Jessica at Joyful Sound was wonderful. Her work is beautiful and she is a magician behind the camera! Can you believe these pictures were shot on a gloomy day? My little ones were also complete wiggle worms and wanted to play instead of take pictures. Jessica was so sweet and welcoming from the moment she met them. Scarlett can be “shy” with new people (which of course puts me on edge at events like photography sessions), but Scarlett instantly warmed up to Jessica and they bonded over cars. I was so relieved! Can any of you mamas relate?
Take a look through her work below and if you would like to sign up for your own session, here is the link to do so.
