By popular demand you guys have asked for a detailed make up routine.
Here are my products I have used for 5+ years! LOL (clearly I’m happy with them!) Shop each item by clicking the product image.
- I start my eyes with the Brule‘ eye shadow. I pat my brush (item number 4 on the list) all over my eye from lash line to eyebrow.
- Next, I take my (item number 5 brush) and use it for my crease. I use the color sable and start in the outer corner and make tiny circle motions in the crease of my eye. This plum color is the best shade! It can be worn day and night without it being too harsh!
- Last I use the shade Nylon in the corner of my tear duct and under my eyebrow. You don’t need to apply a lot- it just adds a touch of shimmer to brighten up your eye.
- Base brush
- Crease brush
- This brush I use to blend my sable and brule‘ colors. Sometimes the sable crease shadow can look harsh when you first apply it so I use this to blend the two colors.
- This is hands down my favorite mascara! It’s drugstore and I love the applicator brush- perfect for cat eye look!
- This eyeliner is a recent find! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It works so well! I’ve used a liquid liner (in black) for yearsss! (I like liquid liner becauset it doesn’t run as the day goes on) The brush applicator on this product is so fine and easy to draw! (AND REALLY EASY TO USE FOR A WING LOOK!)
- Eyelash curler is a must – apply before liner and mascara
- Eyebrow pencil – I use the shade lingering. I like this pencil because it applies easy and has a spool on the other side to brush your eyebrows out after to blend. This pencil also twists to release more product.
11. My face foundation. I have been using it for YEARS… I like that it last all. day. long. I use shade NC 20 sometimes NC25 in the summer
12. THE HOLY GRAIL OF CONCEALER!!!! WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY! LOL This stuff is thick and hides and brightens every heavy dark circle I have under my eyes. It also hides all my blemishes seamlessly There are manyyyyy shades in this product. Right now I use light sand. You can use any beauty blender to apply it to you face. ( Or even your fingers if youre in a pinch lol)
13. This translucent powder is a must if you use number 12! Use a damp sponge and press it into the powder. Then apply it to your under eye. You will look silly but let the powder sit for a few minutes and then wipe away the product with a make up brush. ( This is called baking your face). You will immediately have brigh, awake under eyes!
14. I use this to “contour” my face. It technically a blush but it works just the same. I use the shade: Harmony
15. My favorite blush. In the past I’ve used Nars Orgasm but I switched to this color a few years back and I love it too! I use the shade warm soul.
16. My blush brush I use
17. My contour and highlighter brush (clean before using to highlight or buy two)
18. My face powder I use this powder to set my whole face from the liquid foundation. (It’s lower on my list here but you need to apply it after you back your eyes and apply your face foundation.
19. I love these sponges from target! They are so soft on the face and work so well to apply my foundation
20. Bronzing powder- This is a recent add to my make up routine. I use the lighter shade.
21. My highlighter pack. I tend to use the bottom right color a lot (the pink tone) all the colors are pretty though!
22. Last, I apply my setting spray. This holds all the product on my face and also gives me a dewy finish!
TIP 1* I spray my setting spray lightly to my highlighter brush before I apply my highlight. It helps the product stick better to your face and give you a dewy look.
*Tip 2* You can also spray it onto your eyeshadow brush if you are applying a shimmer eyeshadow to your crease. It will help it hold on your eye better! This product is one of my favorites because it has sooo many uses!
Last but not least, I recently discussed how I clean my brushes on instagram. I use hot water and dawn soap and this cleaning pad here. It’s one of my favorite finds and makes cleaning so easy!
