Holiday inspiration for kids spaces
Kids Holiday Corner
At the start of the new year, I decided to revamp an area of our playroom. I added a kids size industrial table and chairs set, and I’m so thrilled with the new addition to our space. ( I really love these chairs because they don’t tip over easily and have protective sides for little ones.)
Our family loves having a table in the playroom. The kids color, read, paint, or do puzzles at it. It has become the perfect spot for any activity!
However, as much as we loved the new work station in our play space. The wall above it seemed so tall and bare. I had a few ideas of what this space needed, but I ended up hanging two floating shelves to fill the empty space.
By adding the two shelves above the table and chairs; it has allowed me to decorate for many purposes. I like to switch my decor around frequently, so the shelves allow me to do just that. Now I can rotate the everyday and holiday decor. As well as being able to display special books and artwork.
This little corner of the playroom has quickly become my favorite area in the house. As you can tell, I couldn’t resist when decorating for it’s first holiday debut. LOL What do you think? Too much pink, red, and purple?! š
At the bottom of the post you can shop all my decor and gift guides!
A fun way to give small holiday gifts is to use baskets! I usually find mine in the Dollar section at Target.
This year I’m using our pink caboodle to store little Valentine’s Day treats!
For example, the red piggy paint nail polish featured above is perfect for little ones!

This Rey to Z ball gap would also be so cute in a gift basket! We own these hats in other colors, but the red would be so cute for many different holidays! Shop it here!

I love this!! Now I’m inspired to decorate my playroom for Valentines. I actually snagged some of these same items from the dollar spot at Target because they are so good!! I honestly think most could be repurposed for Spring/Easter decor as well!
