What can I say… Scarlett dreamt of having a “pink party” all year.. so a “pink party” is what she got! I absolutely LOVED decorating for this party! It was so eclectic, fun, and VERY PINK! Apparently a “little too pink” according to me six year old nephew, Owen.
On the invitation I requested for everyone to please wear pink. It was the perfect way to create a festive vibe for this made up/random theme party. (Thank you to those who dressed up!) šĀ

Decorations
This party was SO FUN to decorate! I usually have a pretty direct theme, but with this party anything goes – as long as it was pink! š
Pictured below is my annual welcome sign. I use it for every party I host! I really enjoy decorating it for each event. It’s a fun way to give your guests a little sneak peek of what they might find inside, and a chance for you to get creative with a fun saying or quote.
Balloons
Pink party? Or should I say.. balloon party?! I found that the best way to decorate for this random theme party was to buy ALL THE PINK BALLOONS I could find! LOL I probably went overboard, but each balloon was just too cute to resist! I’ll link all my balloon picks on the bottom of my post for you to directly shop. I think my favorite is probably the disco balls! They were SO PRETYYYYY and would also be cute to decorate for NYE too!
Homemade Balloon Arch
This pink balloon arch is about the fourth one I’ve made in a few short months! I’m addicted to making them because THEY’RE SO EASY! If you follow Cake and Confetti she has a GREAT tutorial on how to create your own. You just need a few simple tools that I will link for you at the bottom of the post.

Pin the Bow on the Pink Poodle
YA’LL!!! HOW CUTE IS THIS POODLE!?!? My mother-in-laws best friend, Sue Pugliese, was an art teacher, so I asked her to sketch me a poodle for me. In turn she created this BEAUTIFUL PINK POODLE! When I saw it for the first time my jaw dropped to the floor! She went ABOVE AND BEYOND and I’m so appreciative! The kids absolutly loved pinning their bow on the pink poodle! And yes…. I even used a pink bandana as a blind fold! š
Table Decor
For the dining room table I decided to decorate with two different color boas. I twisted them together and added a light up disco ball garland on top. I then hid the wire between the feathers. I also added a six pack of disco ball ornaments and four large hot pink ornaments. I placed the top hook part into the boa, so it appeared to be balls rather than ornaments.
I found the table cloths at Hobby Lobby. I used two metallic table cloths and layered them on top of each other. Then, I trimmed the sides to fit my oval table correctly. I also taped the covers together with double sided tape to ensure that if a kid pulled at them the table wouldn’t fall apart! LOL #kidparty. I decided to also line the center piece with a pink table cloth that I only unfolded once. This helped it appear to be a table runner than a full table cloth. The pink crinkle pink paper you see was a last minute idea! I used it as a basket filler for the party favors and I had a bunch left over. I decided to add it to all my table tops and omgosh….it was just the texture and pop of color the tables needed! I will totally be doing this again! It was cheap and easy to clean up!
Drinks
Pink lemonade served as the perfect party beverage. We also had a cooler of other beverages for those who don’t enjoy lemonade.
Food
For the food I kept it simple this year. I laid out the usual appetizers: fruit and veggie tray, chips and dip, etc.
I also ordered from Pink’s Pizza for the main dish. Even the Pizza boxes were PINK! HOW PERFECT IS THAT!?
Treats
I’m a sweet tooth type of girl, so of course I placed out pink sprinkle cookies, pink and white marshmallows, and the STUNNING CAKE from Wink By Erica! It was SO BEAUTIFUL and tasted delicious too! Funfetti cake is always a winner in my book! Shop here cakes here: http://winkbyerica.com
I also found this glitter pink basket in the Target dollar spot! I filled it with mother’s original circus animal cookies – these made for a perfect budget friendly party favor.
I still can’t believe my first little love is THREE!!!
We had the best time celebrating our sweet Scarlett!
